The five meanings of have

I have a guitar and I have played it today, but I have to practice more.

英語の「Have」は五つの意味があります。
このレッスンで全部を練習しましょう。

名詞とHaveは何かを持っている意味です。

I have a guitar
私はギターを持っています。
My friend has a new car.
友達は新しい車を持っています。

動詞の現在形とHaveは何かをしなければならない意味です。

I have to buy some vegetables.
野菜を買わなければなりません。
I have to go to the hospital.
病院に行かなければなりません。

過去分詞とHaveは三つの意味があります。

1.   人生の経験を話す時です。

I have been to Germany.
ドイツに行ったことがあります。
I have eaten French food.
フランスの料理を食べたことがあります。

I have been to____________
I have seen_______________
I have eaten______________
I have played_____________

2.    普通の事が出来た時と出来ない時です。たいてい、毎日の事とか毎週の事です。

I have (already) eaten breakfast.　　
もう朝ご飯を食べました。
I have not eaten breakfast (yet).
まだ朝ご飯を食べていません。

もし毎週一回二回買い物をしたら、この文法は完ぺきです。

I have (already) been shopping.
もう買い物をしました。
I have not been shopping (yet).
まだ買い物をしていません。

I have already__________ ___________
I have already__________ ___________
I have not ________ ____________yet.
I have not ________ ____________yet.

3.      何かを始める時、まだ始めていない時、終わる時とまだ終わっていない時です。

I have started to make dinner.       (I am making dinnerも大丈夫です）
晩御飯を作っています。
I have not started to make dinner.
まだ晩御飯を作り始めていません。
I have finished (doing) my homework.
宿題を終わりました。
I have not finished (doing) my homework.
まだ宿題が終わっていません。

Circumlocution

英語の言葉「circumlocution」を知っていますか？意味はもし名詞を知らなかったら、その言葉の説明をします。例えば、もし英語のオオカミを知らなかったら、「It is an animal like a dog、犬のような動物」を言います。このレッスンで「circumlocution」をしましょう。

It is a long yellow fruit.
長くて黄色い果物です

 

Circumlocutionの場合、形容詞は大切なので、１０個形容詞と５色色を書いてください。

It is a _____ _______animal.

It is a _____ _______building.

He/She is a ______ ________person.

 

 

名詞も大切です。例えば、

 

 

It is a building like a temple.

お寺のような建物です。

 

 

It is a food like_________.

It is a game like_________.

He/She is a person like_________.

 

 

使い方を説明する時も便利です。

 

 

It is used to buy a train ticket.

It is used for buying a train ticket.

電車の切符を買うものです。

 

It is used to make___________.

It is used for cooking___________.
It is used to clean______________.

It is used for playing____________.

 

自然に使う方法です。

 

I do not know the word, but it is sharp and used for cooking.

言葉を知らないですけど、鋭いもの、料理に使うものです。

 

 

I have forgotten the word, but it is a vehicle like a train, used for getting around the city.

言葉を忘れたけど、電車のような乗り物で街を走っています。

長い過去形の文

たいてい英語の生徒は短い過去形の文を話しますが、長い文の方がいいです。このレッスンで長い過去形の文を練習しましょう。

Recently I saw a green insect, he was cute.

二つの動詞

Recently I went to Kameoka to take photograpｔhs.
最近写真を撮るために、亀岡に行きました。

この過去形の文は二つ動詞があります。最初の動詞は過去形ですが、第二動詞は現在形です。

I went to Osaka to buy____________
I went to an Italian restaurant to eat_____________
I went to__________ to visit__________________
I went to__________ to see___________________
I went to__________ to ______  _______________

動詞と形容詞

I ate Indian curry, it was delicous.
インドカレーを食べた、美味しかった。

この文は過去形動詞と数えられない名詞なので、it was と形容詞が要ります。


I bought a t-shirt, it was cheap.
Tシャツを買った、安かった。

この文は過去形動詞と一つ数えられる名詞なので、it was と形容詞が要ります。


I grew some tomatoes, they were sweet.
トマトを作った、甘かった。

この文は過去形動詞と一つ以上数えられる名詞なので、they were と形容詞が要ります。


Recently I went to Kameoka to meet my friend, it was fun. I took a lot of photos of a green insect, he was cute. My friend played the  didjeridu, she was great. After we went to an Indian restaurant to eat curry, it was very delicious.

最近友達に会うために、亀岡に行った、楽しかった。私は緑の虫の写真をたくさん撮った、その虫は可愛かった。友達はディジュリドゥを吹いた、すごく上手だった。そのあとカレーを食べるために、インド料理店に行って、とても美味しかった。

毎日たくさん外国人の観光客は京都に来ます。だから、英語を話すチャンスが多いです。もし地図を読んでいる人を見たら、すみませんと言ってください。
